Huawei has launched the Huawei Vision Smart Screen S7 Pro in China, and it is clearly trying to sell a lot more than a big slab of 4K glass. The new model mixes Mini LED hardware, HarmonyOS 4.3, built-in AI features, and stylus support into a package aimed at homes that want a screen for movies, kids, and work without buying three separate devices.

That positioning makes sense. TV makers are under pressure from larger LCD sets, brighter Mini LED panels, and increasingly aggressive smart features from rivals, so Huawei is leaning into a more ambitious pitch: a screen that behaves like a family hub, not just another television. The company is also following a familiar playbook seen across the premium TV market, where refresh rates, brightness, and software polish matter almost as much as panel size.

Huawei Vision Smart Screen S7 Pro specs

The Huawei Vision Smart Screen S7 Pro comes in 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch versions. Every model uses a 4K Mini LED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, motion enhancement up to 288Hz, peak brightness of 2000 nits, a 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 5000:1 contrast ratio. Huawei also adds an anti-reflective layer, which should help in bright living rooms where glossy panels usually give up and turn into mirrors.

HarmonyOS 4.3 and AI features

Inside, the smart screen runs HarmonyOS 4.3 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Audio is handled by a 2.1-channel system rated at 130W, combining full-range drivers, tweeters, and a dedicated subwoofer. That is respectable on paper, though, as always, the real question is whether the tuning matches the spec sheet swagger.

Huawei is also pushing AI-enabled features through a built-in camera, including posture detection and distance alerts that are meant to help keep children at a safer viewing distance. The screen supports stylus input too, so users can write or draw directly on it. That nudges the product into the same broad territory as Samsung’s more lifestyle-minded displays and other premium smart TVs that are trying to justify their size with extra tricks.

Huawei Vision Smart Screen S7 Pro price

Pricing starts at 7999 yuan for the 65-inch model, which is around $1100. The 75-inch version costs 10999 yuan, around $1500, while the 85-inch model is priced at 12999 yuan, around $1800. At the top of the range, the 98-inch version reaches 18999 yuan, around $2600.

The Huawei Vision Smart Screen S7 Pro is already available in China through official channels and retail stores. Huawei has not said anything yet about a wider release, which leaves the obvious follow-up question hanging: if this package is good enough to challenge premium Mini LED rivals, does Huawei keep it local or try to push it into more markets later?
