Cosplay star Fishy has dropped a stunning photo set embodying Mandy-aka Blonde Blazer-from the episodic adventure game Dispatch, and it perfectly captures the character’s essence.
Dispatch launched in 2025 from indie developer AdHoc Studio, offering a unique blend of superhero action and workplace comedy. Players step into the shoes of Robert Robertson III, a retired hero known as Mecha Man, who becomes a dispatcher helping rehabilitate former supervillains.

Mandy, better known in-game as Blonde Blazer, stands out as one of Dispatch’s key supporting characters. She runs the Torrance branch of the Superhero Dispatch Network and serves as one of Robert’s romantic interests. Her powers come from a magical amulet with a red gem-when activated, she physically transforms into a taller, more muscular woman with trademark platinum blonde hair. Without the amulet, Mandy is just a short brunette barely able to open a beer bottle.
Blonde Blazer is the most powerful hero available to dispatchers, boasting top stats unmatched by any other character. But Dispatch avoids the usual trope of the ”too perfect” superhero hiding dark secrets. Mandy turns out to be exactly what she seems: a genuine, down-to-earth person without ulterior motives.

Before the game’s events, Mandy dated Phenomaman, a popular alien hero. Their relationship ended because he only saw Blonde Blazer, not Mandy herself. She had long dreamed of dropping the hero persona to just be herself. This depth makes Mandy refreshingly human in a genre where heroes tend to be either flawless paragons or tortured loners.
Her voice actress is Erin Yvette, known for Snow White in The Wolf Among Us. The game’s star-studded cast also features Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, Matthew Mercer, YouTuber MoistCr1TiKaL, and rapper Yung Gravy.

Dispatch was a surprise hit in 2025, coming from a studio that nearly shut down during development. AdHoc’s founders went half a year without pay to keep the team afloat. Not only did the game make it to release-it soared, quickly inspiring a wave of fan cosplay. Blonde Blazer naturally became one of the most popular characters to embody, and Fishy clearly knows how to deliver the goods.
Looking ahead, Dispatch’s blend of superhero grit and heartfelt character moments sets it apart in a crowded genre. With characters like Mandy who break the usual molds, it’s worth watching how future expansions or sequels deepen this narrative approach-and whether cosplay will continue to highlight the game’s unexpected heroes.
