The Nova 2 Ultra also offers stereo speakers, a vapor chamber cooling system, and gaming enhancements such as customizable triggers.

Pricing and availability:

  • Nova 2: Starting at 8,999 Indian rupees (around $110), available from April 14 at noon on Flipkart
  • Nova 2 Ultra: Starting at 14,999 Indian rupees (approximately $185), available from April 17 at noon on Flipkart

AI+ entering the affordable smartphone segment in India is notable given the competitive landscape dominated by brands like Xiaomi, Samsung, and Realme, which offer aggressive specs for tight budgets. By focusing on large batteries and high-refresh-rate displays, AI+ aims to carve out a niche for value-focused consumers seeking modern features without exceeding their budget.

Looking ahead, AI+ will need to balance price and performance to compete effectively in the mid-tier segment. Success may hinge not only on hardware specs but also on software updates, real-world camera quality, and user experience enhancements-areas where many budget brands struggle despite offering flashy hardware.
