Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Ceiling Light Pro Ultra-Thin lineup, a new series of smart ceiling lights that combine sleek, slim designs with powerful, natural-looking illumination. These smart lighting fixtures prioritize a minimalist profile to blend discreetly into any room while delivering bright, healthy lighting optimized to reduce blue light impact.

The series consists of three models tailored for different room sizes, offering various shapes and brightness levels. At the top is the L100, a large rectangular panel designed for spacious rooms between 25 and 45 square meters. It pumps out up to 10,000 lumens at 150 watts, with an average illumination of no less than 300 lux and an impressive color rendering index of Ra98. The panel measures 1050 × 650 mm and is just 29 mm thick, making it ultra-slim for its class.

The mid-range D60 model sports a circular design suited for medium spaces from 15 to 25 square meters, such as cozy living rooms or generous bedrooms. It delivers 5,200 lumens at 75 watts, with a diameter of 600 mm and a thickness of 24 mm.

Xiaomi Mijia Ceiling Light Pro series

The smallest D50 model targets rooms up to 15 square meters, offering 4,200 lumens at 60 watts. Its compact form factor measures 500 mm in diameter and shares the 24 mm slim profile of the D60.

All three models utilize full-spectrum LEDs with adjustable color temperatures ranging from warm 2700K to daylight 5700K. They carry an RG0 safety rating, signaling minimal blue light emission to reduce eye strain and promote healthier lighting conditions-a feature increasingly demanded as consumers seek wellness-focused smart lighting solutions.

The fixtures integrate with Xiaomi’s HyperOS smart home platform, enabling remote control, scheduling, and seamless interaction with other Xiaomi devices. This positions the Mijia Ceiling Light Pro series as a smart lighting option for consumers wanting convenience and ecosystem compatibility.

Pricing in China starts at 849 yuan for the D50, 999 yuan for the D60, and 1759 yuan for the flagship L100. With subsidies, prices drop to approximately 721, 849, and 1495 yuan, respectively, which is highly competitive for such feature-rich, ultra-thin smart ceiling lights. The series is already available through Chinese e-commerce platforms.

Compared to Western smart lighting brands like Philips Hue and Nanoleaf, Xiaomi’s Mijia Ceiling Light Pro offers a compelling mix of brightness, design, and affordability-though these models currently focus on the Chinese market. Xiaomi may expand the series internationally or develop successors with more smart home interoperability beyond HyperOS.
