Vivo is gearing up to unveil its flagship X300 Ultra and the X300s on March 30. Ahead of the official launch, leaks and benchmark results have surfaced, shedding light on some standout features – including the rumored dual 200MP cameras and professional photography accessories.
The X300 Ultra keeps the design language of previous X-series flagships with subtle tweaks. It’s expected in three colors: green, black, and white. The black variant reportedly has a matte finish, while green and white versions will sport two-tone rear panels. Meanwhile, the X300s is said to come in four colors, including a light purple option.
Vivo X300 Ultra dual 200MP sensors headline the camera setup
The biggest highlight is clearly the camera. The Vivo X300 Ultra may feature a triple-camera system with two massive 200MP sensors. The primary shooter is likely built around Sony’s LYT901 sensor (1/1.12”, 35mm equivalent, f/1.85) with advanced stabilization. The ultra-wide camera will be a 50MP Sony LYT818, while the periscope telephoto lens boasts another 200MP sensor from Samsung’s HP0 line. Rounding out the setup is a 5MP multispectral sensor for enhanced imaging.

Pro camera accessories expand Vivo X300 Ultra photography
Vivo is marketing the X300 Ultra as a potential DSLR alternative. To back this up, it may support attachable Zeiss lenses, including 200mm and 400mm teleconverters. A Satellite Edition is rumored as well, which bundles these lens accessories, a dedicated shooting grip, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. This special version could also add satellite communication capabilities, a feature still niche but gaining traction with certain smartphone makers.
Performance and software details from Geekbench leak
A prototype carrying the model number V2547DA has been spotted on Geekbench, scoring 3,722 in the single-core test and 11,621 in multi-core performance. The X300 Ultra is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with Android 16 and Vivo’s OriginOS 6 skin.
Vivo’s aggressive camera specs put the X300 Ultra in direct competition with Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra, which sports a 200MP main sensor, and Xiaomi’s latest flagships. The dual 200MP sensor approach is unusual; most rivals use one high-resolution sensor paired with versatile secondary cameras. The attachable Zeiss optics, meanwhile, echo Huawei’s past attempts at professional-grade smartphone photography but with potentially more polish and official backing.
We’ll know the full story, including pricing and availability, when Vivo officially launches the X300 Ultra and X300s on March 30. Given the phone’s ambitious hardware and rumored pro accessories, it could set new standards for mobile photography within and beyond China’s smartphone industry.
