iQOO has unveiled its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone in India, the Z11x 5G, packing a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, a large 7200mAh battery, and a 6.76-inch 120Hz display. Priced starting at ₹18,999 (about $230), it seeks to offer strong performance and endurance at a competitive price point.

The Z11x 5G features a 6.76-inch LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant visuals. The display sports a punch-hole selfie camera with a 32MP sensor capable of recording 4K video, and peaks at an impressive 1200 nits brightness to improve visibility even under direct sunlight.

Under the hood, the phone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Turbo, built on a 4nm process and clocked up to 2.5GHz, paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. This SoC is designed to balance power efficiency with solid performance, backed by an AnTuTu score nearing 1 million points, placing it among the more capable midrange chips currently available.

Memory options include 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM alongside 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, striking a familiar balance seen in today’s midrange smartphones. The rear camera setup has a 50MP primary Sony IMX852 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, complemented by a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera also supports 4K video recording, matching the front camera’s capabilities.

One standout feature is the Z11x’s massive 7200mAh battery, a boost from its predecessor’s 6500mAh, combined with 44W fast charging. Additional features include stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an infrared port. On the durability side, the device holds MIL-STD-810H military certification and boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance-rare for phones in this price segment.
