Motorola is gearing up to launch its next wave of folding smartphones, with focus currently on the Razr Fold set to debut globally this month. However, fresh leaks reveal the upcoming Motorola Razr 70 Ultra series, hinting at a new flagship clamshell on the horizon.
Following recent scoops on the base Razr 70 model, Android Headlines and OnLeaks have shared renders and details of the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra. These images showcase the premium foldable’s design, potential color options, and material finishes.

The renders indicate at least two Pantone color options for the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra: Cocoa Brown and Orient Blue. The Cocoa Brown model carries over a wood-like textured finish familiar from past generations, while Orient Blue introduces an Alcantara-style material for a more upscale feel.

More color variants are expected, as the previous Razr 60 Ultra launched with four options. Motorola is known for experimenting with premium materials and finishes to differentiate its foldables from competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip and Huawei’s foldable lineup.
Motorola has not announced when the Razr 70 Ultra will officially launch. It is expected that the company will withhold official news until after the Razr Fold preorder window opens on April 11.
As foldable smartphones become more popular, the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra’s combination of style and premium materials will be key to carving out its niche against Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Apple’s rumored future foldable designs. It remains to be seen whether Motorola can push innovation beyond aesthetics to win over a wider global audience.
